I would like to add that I am against the horrific practice of breeding white tigers. However, I fully support preserving the? 1000 or fewer white tigers still alive in India and China. Please see IndianTiger dot com. Thanks.

actually, i didn’t realize this was to help protect an endangered species. i retract my criticism. good for this person for helping spread awareness of the threat to? this gorgeous species.
The white? tiger isn’t a species though… it is a bengal/siberian hybrid, and the coloring is caused by a deleterious double recessive gene. These animals are highly inbred, which resultrs in many deformities. Sadly the deformed ones are usually killed… it’s just so wrong to breed white tigers!
