Are you thinking of short term storage with the camera otherwise in regular use, or long term storage where the camera will not be used for some time? If it is long term storage, it is more important to think about how to prevent damage from fungal growth on optical components. You can avoid this by putting a desiccant like silica gel in the storage container. You should be able to get these from a pharmacy or good camera store.
