wonderful video, friend.1-this video must be one of the best quality video on youtube on these camera samples2- these clips are wonderful catches from nature..i couldn’t stop myself to show my admiration by writing a reviewi have ordered mine yesterday and i was sad about its video quality with 24fps.in your video it looks good thoughby? the wayis 24fps too bad ??
I think 24fps is what most PAL video / TV is broadcast in -? so it’s pretty standard. You won’t notice 24fps unless your subject is moving very fast or you pan quickly…
You’re wrong. You’re getting a number of technologies confused here.Yes, broadcast and video is around 24fps but that’s with cameras designed to shoot video.Still cameras use still camera image sensors which scan the subject vertically from top to bottom. Therefore even when panning slowly, undesirable artefacts are clearly seen and furthermore, according to Cameralabs, the? Nikon D5000 demonstrated the worst panning artefacts of all the DSLR HD cameras they tested.
I believe 24fps is also the rate that? most theatrical film is shot in. I agree… beautiful footage. Just ordered one myself, I probably won’t be doing nature footage, but can’t wait just the same.
@Sparky937 – the camera still uses the? aperture set in liveview, so pick the widest aperture available. For really shallow depth of field (unfocused background) use something like a 50mm f1.8 lens with a very wide max aperture or a long focal length (above 100mm at f2.8).
