I have the AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm DX lens and this bag is way too snug. The width is too tight making it very hard to place the lens in the bag and remove it. If you have the HB-45 hood attached (reversed) it is nearly impossible.

Pretty simple product but quit useful! I have a 18-55mm Nikkor lens and fit like great, a little bit lose, but that’s not a problem. The outer finish has a fabric that could serve as a lens cleaner, and the bottom has a hard surface, so it always keeps it shape.

I received this case and put my lens in it right away. It’s a perfect fit and I feel confident that it will be safe and cozy in my bag when not in use.

I bought this as a case for my Nikon TC-14E teleconverter that didn’t come with a case. This is the same case the Nikon 17E II comes with and I liked it for the other TC and so I got it for the new one.
