Focus=Slow it’s a deal breaker for me. I’m getting the 80-200 2.8- Yeah it costs more but as they say the poor man pays twice.

I just bought it 7 days ago.

From the body of lens, it looks new. But after careful checking, I found some dust inside both sides of lens, especially inside that smaller lens contacting camera body. Also I saw little scratch on the lens.

I was worried, so I took few tests by shooting at a pure white page and shooting in a pure dark room. Luckily those dust does not affect the images (no dust spot on the images).

Other aspects of this lens are good. Only those dusts disappoint me a little.~~~

This lens is horrible out past 200mm. It is completely soft. If you do anything with stock photography (where they review photos at 100%) or need to be able to print decent size photos do not buy this lens. Anything shot beyond 200mm is too poor of quality to even print a 4 by 6. I bought a sigma 18-200 after buying this and now never use the nikon lens. Waste of money!
