Hi i don’t know where you stay but you can try guidesforshow.blogspot.com that guy sold me a canon camera before and he sells other stuff too at slightly lower prices compared to ebay and market price.Just let him know.

It goes for $1800 used at the lowest. Unless you buy a broken one or steal one you’re not getting one for that cheap.
You will NOT get a D700 for <$1700 from any legitimate website, and the scam sites will rip you off
If you want a DSLR a D90 is that price at most places.

You can not find new D700 for that price.The cheapest that I found is $3000 with lenshttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001BTGâ€¦
for under $1000, the best you can get is Nikon D5000 or if you can afford a bit more get Nikon D90http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?iâ€¦
