    Never EVER EVER buy a Canon or Olympus camera. Some of? the worst camera manufacturers ever.Always, ALWAYS buy Nikon.

    i got canon. reasonably good. olympus sucks even though i saw those adverts on natgeo magazines.? but yeah nikon is the best

    I’d recommend the D40 over the D40x and D60, because the less megapixels means that your high ISO photographs will look less noisy (and that’s one of the major reasons to buy a DSLR). The D40 has 6 M.P. which allows excellent prints up to 8″x10″, and so-so prints for larger sizes. If you really need to print larger than 8″x10″ without any loss of image quality, get the? D40x or D60… otherwise, get the D40. You’ll probably upgrade eventually anyway, so you might as well start with the cheapest
