What are some career ideas for a kid interested in wildlife conservation who would like to be out in the field but not as a researcher. I’m asking for my cousin. He’s also interested in flying planes and photography.

You could work for the national park service as a park ranger. I think that would be fun. You’re in the field doing conservation work that isn’t research oriented. If he’s interested in flying and photography, National Geographic would be an ambitious goal. I hope this helps.
