Some manufactures DO sell interchangeable lenses, such as Nikon. The reason why most do not is the camera body design. The digital must have additional lenses inside the camera to adjust the size of the image from that of film to that of the image sensor. Most common image sensing elements range from 1/4″ square to 1/3″ square and larger while 35MM film is roughly 1″ by 1-1/4″. So, the answer for your camera is maybe. Now you know why the lens in a typical digital camera is so SMALL compared to a typical 35mm film camera when both will produce an equivalent quality print.

Olympus abandoned the OM lens system when they elected to co-develop the Four-Thirds standard. Olmpus does offer an adapter on their website but, it is completely mechanical so lenses will not auto-focus and there’s no control of the aperture other than using the aperture ring on the lens. It will make for combersome operation but, it will work.

typically newer slr cameras lenses will work on digital cameras.
if they are from the 70′s or something, are screw mount, or T-mount then NO…. but, if your slr is newer, then chances are it probably will..
you have to figure out what type of mount you have. i’m positive you can find it on the olympus website. then look for lenses with that mount..
canon for example had FD lenses for many years, then switched to EF some time ago even before digital, and all of the EF lenses fit on the DSLR’s but the FD’s dont.. now there’s EFS which fits ONLY on the digitals.
FD lenses don’t have auto focus….. that’s typically a good way to tell.
i don’t know enough about olympus, but, that’s still a good gague..
but first, go check their website…. figure out the mount type and compare.

The way I understand it new cameras with teh 4/3 system cannot use older olympus OM lenses without an adapter. There are adapter rings http://www.popflash.com/index.php?p=prod…http://www.cameraquest.com/adp_micro_43.…
